I was born in Barcelona, Spain, into a bilingual and bicultural family: my father is the Spanish son of Cuban refugees and Mom’s a Southern belle who emigrated abroad from small-town Alabama. We were a globetrotting family because of my dad’s job, so I was raised as a Third Culture Kid: my developmental years were spent outside of my parents’ cultures, immersed in the melting pots of North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. I’ve lived in thirteen towns and cities across nine countries, and have travelled as a global nomad to over sixty.
Like any true Spaniard or Southerner, family has always been at the heart of who I am— shaping my identity and identifiability as a person, performer, and professional. Dad instilled in me a Jesuit work ethic and Stoic principles, while my mother taught me the importance of bravery, commitment, and self-belief.
Perhaps not coincidentally, my siblings are also in the arts! My brother Nicolas is a visual artist and head of La Colline, our family’s artist residency at our villa in Normandy, France. And my sister Victoria is a touring singer-songwriter – she just released her debut album, Slowly, It Dawns, and even performed with Coldplay at Glastonbury!
My education has been as eclectic as my upbringing. Although I set out to earn a BA in Theater Studies as an actor at Emerson College, I decided to take a more holistic approach to my studies. I hold a BA in International Human Rights from Regent’s University London; an MSc in Violence, Conflict, and Development from SOAS; and a PGCert in Applied Theater from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. There was a method to the madness: my goal was to employ the performing arts as a healing tool for war-torn communities by promoting emotional literacy and creative expression as tools for rehabilitation and reconciliation. Throughout, performance has always been my guiding purpose.
As an actor, voice artist, and creative storyteller, I’ve learned that living a rich life isn’t about material success — it’s about meaning. I’m endlessly curious about people, cultures, and the stories that shape us. Whether I’m performing on stage or behind the microphone, I bring warmth, humor, and authenticity to every project. I thrive on collaboration, creativity, and connection — the moments where real emotion meets storytelling. Living richly, for me, means embracing curiosity, growth, and the beautiful complexity of being human.
I’m a bilingual Spaniard from Barcelona, savoring the zest of life like citrus-filled sangría, carrying a sun-kissed Mediterranean heart on my sleeve, and moving through the world like red wine: intense, full-bodied, and bold.
Even though I grew up around the world, I’ve always maintained a loyal connection to Spain, and our thriving tapas culture leaves within me quintessentially Spanish qualities: laughter, loudness, and liveliness. This sociability allows me to connect with people, onstage and off, on a deeper level.
I’ve inherited a vibrant cultural heritage characterized by explosive passion and driven by the untranslatable duende: an elusive, almost magical spirit, fueled by flamenco fire, an enchantment that transcends technical skill to convey authentic feelings that draw in audiences with raw emotion.
Despite having a General American accent instead of an Appalachian twang, I’m a Southern boy from head to toe – charming as a sweet tea toast.
Hospitality is part and parcel of my Southern heritage, and I pride myself in good manners and etiquette. Long, languid childhood summers were spent with my maternal family in a close-knit community down in northeast Georgia, and just like at my grandparents’, my home (and home studio) have been an open porch by example.
Southern hospitality goes beyond simple politeness; it’s a way of life, where generosity is the norm and neighbors are like family. All my clients are honored guests, and I guarantee all the warmth and welcome that comes with Southern comfort, with camaraderie that’ll leave you feeling peachy as my grandma’s cobbler.
Exposed throughout my life to melting pots of the world like Amsterdam, London, and Madrid to the west and Tokyo, Shanghai, and Dubai to the east, I’ve grown into an international citizen well-suited for the global market. I have a cultural awareness, engagement, and perspective that not many can match. I apply this as a performer when researching for roles, as a professional when working with clients, and as a person working with peers.
Mixed into the congeniality I’ve taken from my Spanish and Southern backgrounds, I’ve also learned lessons in social graces from traditions in every place I’ve lived.
Plus, thanks to dual citizenship, I’m easily able to work in both the U.S. and E.U. without the inconvenience of visas, and I have pre-settled status in the U.K. even after Brexit.
I’m a neurodivergent performer! And proud of it, because it’s what I can uniquely contribute to any project or production.
As a square peg in a world of round holes, my out-of-the-box thinking, pattern recognition, hyperfocus, and piercing attention to detail make me the ideal candidate to lift the words off the page above and beyond standard.
Furthermore, the hyperawareness of subtext I require to manoeuvre through life leads to proficiency for character analysis; and a life of intense emotions and heightened emotional sensitivity helps me fearlessly bring forth the rich emotional range required to repeatedly deliver vivid performances, carrying with me the empathy and compassion required to tackle complex roles humanely and without any hint of caricature.
